  • 1 Oct 2019 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. Noting that my colleague, the Member for Likoni, Hon. Mishi Mboko, will also be moving an Adjournment Motion on the same matter tomorrow afternoon, I wish to request the House to allow me to defer my comments on the Zero Hour Statement to tomorrow during the Adjournment Motion. view
  • 5 Mar 2019 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Speaker. Pursuant to Standing Order No. 84, I wish to make a Personal Statement regarding the purported discharge by my party; the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) for allegedly being disloyal. The ODM party, which I am a member of, has enjoyed fanatic following in Malindi and the larger Coast Region, thanks to the party’s people-centred leadership and precepts of democracy. One of our greatest sons of the Coast Region, Hon. Ronald Ngala was elected in the Legislative Council in 1957. • 5 Mar 2019 in National Assembly: nation at large. He overcame political party barriers in his quest to ensure this nation remains one and indivisible. I pay tribute to him. Freedom means one can express himself/ herself without victimisation, freedom to have a divergent opinion within a party and have that opinion respected without being condemned.
