Temporary Deputy Speaker, I beg to move that the Election Campaign Financing (Amendment) Bill, (National Assembly Bill No.37 of 2021), be now read the Third Time. I take this opportunity to thank Members of the Committee and the House for supporting and fast-tracking this Bill. I request that we continue to fast-track it and pass it into law so that it can be assented to and operationalised before we go to the coming elections. I move and request Hon. Sankok to second. view
  • 31 Mar 2022 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Speaker. I support this Supplementary Appropriation Bill. It is important to fast-track it because where I come from, we are facing serious drought. There is no water or food for our people. The Government had stopped the supply of relief food to pay for cash-transfer which is also not available because registration has not been done. I hope this Bill will go ahead and fasten the supply of cash instead of food stuff, and to also alleviate the hunger that our people are facing.
