would not even have presided over the case. In my current position, I had to prosecute my mandate in accordance with the provisions of our Standing Orders. Hon. Speaker, I want to call upon one of my Committee Members, hon. Mwangangi, who supported the Committee’s position, to second the Motion.

20 Nov 2013 in National Assembly:
Hon. Speaker, Sir, as I said earlier, my good friend Chris Wakhungu, who is also a very good researcher has talked about methodology and logical follow on as the way things are supposed to move. I wish to say that we have been very consistent, fair to the person of John. Mututho; but there is something I want to correct that was raised by the Chief Whip. He read page 15 and did it selectively. I want to take you to the same page, page 15 paragraph two – of course the House knows the consequences of what they are ...

12 Nov 2013 in National Assembly:
Niko hapa, mhe.

12 Nov 2013 in National Assembly:
Thank you, hon. Deputy Speaker. Indeed, I had promised the House that I would avail this document to the hon. Member. But so far we have not been given any information from the Immigration Department. I want to promise that we will respond sometime next week. But at the Committee level, we will invite the hon. Member to our Committee once we get the report and then we can interrogate and scrutinize the report together to get the full details. Therefore, we will do that in a week’s time.

12 Nov 2013 in National Assembly:
Hon. Deputy Speaker, I want to admit that this Ministry is really getting a lot of questions. I have tried to fast-track this. The issue raised by the hon. Member is extremely urgent and I have tried to fast-track it. I want to promise that I will keep on pushing, especially the officers under the Cabinet Secretary for Interior and Coordination of National Government, so that we have this Statement without fail next week. Thank you.

12 Nov 2013 in National Assembly:
Thank you, hon. Deputy Speaker. I have actually given instructions to the officers who are handling these questions in the Cabinet Secretary’s office to fast track it. These are issues of police and their several departments; I think there is a lot of bureaucracy, but I will try to improve on this. I will also inform the Cabinet Secretary in charge of that docket to pull up his socks. So, we promise to do that in a week’s time.

12 Nov 2013 in National Assembly:
Hon. Deputy Speaker, first of all, I want to join my colleague, hon. Washington Jakoyo Midiwo, in passing my condolences to my friend, hon. Aduma. I wish to say that he had a premonition about this issue and he raised it in this House. I want to confirm that as a Chairman of the relevant committee I am very hurt. I had promised about twice to deliver a Statement to the MP, but I have not received any response. In order to fast track it and in honour of the people whom we have lost, I want to suggest that, ...
