Temporary Deputy Speaker, I also suggest that we cannot put prosecution powers under one office, with regard to what has happened in the National Youth Service, the Kenya Pipeline and other institutions. I will bring a Motion before this House so that we amend the procedure on prosecution to give the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) some powers. This is my proposal. I will bring it under a Bill as ... view

  • 20 Mar 2018 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I also rise to contribute on this issue of the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) rangers. We need to seriously consider issues arising from compensation for victims of attacks by wildlife and game rangers. Can he recognise Uhuru Kenyatta as the official President now? view

First of all, I would like to congratulate my fellow Member of Parliament for Khwisero. It is very rare for Members of Parliament elected from Khwisero Constituency to contribute in this House. Last Session I never heard a contribution from our colleague. view
  • 28 Feb 2018 in National Assembly: Mine will be very brief because of the time factor. I support the BPS. We made a very big mistake to devolve the entire agriculture sector to the counties. Agriculture is the backbone of the economy of this country. We need to refocus on how we can revamp the agriculture sector in the The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposes only.
