We are providing Clause 11(2) to provide for the qualifications of ordinary members of the Board. We also felt that the Chair should have specific qualifications in terms of procurement, finance, law or in accounts. The other members are only required to have any other degree so that we open up for every citizen of this country. That is what we are amending in Clause 11. view

As it is in the Bill now, Clause 11 provides as follows: That you cannot be appointed both as a chair and a member if you do not have knowledge and experience of 10 years and specific qualifications of procurement and supply chain management, finance, law and accountancy.
