• 26 Feb 2014 in National Assembly: Hon. Deputy Speaker, even as they consult, what the Chair of the Budget and Appropriation Committee said makes a lot of sense. We have discussed this Budget in detail for the last two weeks. We have also denied some very important departments money which they wanted. I do not see any emergency with what we are discussing. As we speak now, we are doing the Budget for the next financial year and we can easily capture this money. view

• 25 Feb 2014 in National Assembly: On 3rd February, 2013, the Departmental Committee on Environment and Natural Resources made an official visit to my constituency to familiarize themselves with a very important project in this country called Umaa Dam. This is one of the four flagship dams, whose implementation is actually targeted in the vision 2030. While the visit was important, I am very concerned with the way it was planned and executed.
