  • 21 Feb 2019 in National Assembly: Thank you Hon. Speaker for giving me this opportunity. I want to thank Hon. Junet for bringing up this matter. In fact, I had already written a letter that was to come to your attention. The issues that have been raised are serious. The other day, there was an incident of a friend whose child was going to Australia and they had transferred money from their company account into their personal account that they were using to acquire visas. When they got visas, this person went to the bank to access the money to pay fees since they were travelling ... view

  • 27 Nov 2018 in National Assembly: Last week, a Member of this House made very serious allegations against the House Business Committee (HBC) when he appeared on a live television interview. When he was asked whether he had prosecuted some of the matters he was prosecuting out there in the media through the HBC or through the channels in Parliament, his answer was that he had tried but the HBC did not approve claiming that the HBC is biased and would approve some statements… view

  • 24 Oct 2018 in National Assembly: Thank you. I would like to donate some of the 10 minutes that I have to my immediate neighbour, as the Bible says that you should love your neighbour as you love yourself. Next I will donate time to my good friend, Hon. Oyoo, whom I was with in KANU before he moved away. Each of them will have two minutes. view
  • 24 Oct 2018 in National Assembly: Hon. Mutai and Hon. Onyango Oyoo. They have two minutes each. I can spare two minutes for Hon. (Dr.) Nyikal, who is a ranking Member; a lady will follow and Hon. Kogo, who was also a teacher, will have a minute. I will then summarise in two minutes. view
  • 24 Oct 2018 in National Assembly: Yes, I donated to her two minutes. view
  • 24 Oct 2018 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I will use it effectively. I want to thank the Members for supporting this Motion. This problem is faced by Bondeni Primary school in my constituency which has 400 students and it sits on one acre. This is what drove me to bring this Motion but I did not know the problems I face are faced by all Members in their constituencies. Therefore, I reply and urge that pursuant to Standing Order No.53 (3) the putting of the Question be deferred to another day. view
