Mr. Speaker, Sir, this is the busiest road in the country and the region. Using this road at night is dangerous, because there are no road signs. Considering that diversions are changed on day to day basis, could the Assistant Minister ensure that these diversions are marked with properly lighted diversion signs?

Mr. Speaker, Sir, none of the concrete barriers has reflectors. Traffic rules are very clear. Any obstacle on the road must have a reflector. Why are there no reflectors on all the concrete barriers, whether they are protecting construction sites or separating traffic lanes?

Mr. Speaker, Sir, the Government is supposed to protect consumers as well as the investors. It appears that your interest is protecting investors. Multichoice (K) Ltd. is a monopoly. What action are you taking to ensure that Multichoice (K) Ltd., being a monopoly does not abuse and take advantage of its own customers?

Thank you, Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir. I find it a little bit suspicious that on 17th Mr. James Ochieng booked himself in the hotel and on the two nights including 18th, he never slept in the hotel and the hotel went to report to the police station. Did he owe the hotel some amounts or does failing to sleep in the room amount to a police case, unless these people are suspects? Why would they go to report if somebody has not slept in their hotel?

I know the Assistant Minister is not in the hotel industry. By not showing up in a hotel does not warrant one to go and report to the police that your client never came to sleep in the hotel, unless these fellows are suspicious and were involved in the disappearance of Mr. Ochieng. So the question is very simple: Did you follow the lead of the workers at the hotel themselves because not sleeping in a hotel does not amount to a police case?

On a point of order, Mr. Speaker, Sir. I believe you will agree with me that it appears the Prime Ministerâs Question Time is becoming irrelevant, going by what has been happening in the previous occasions. It is not being taken seriously and I plead with the Chair to take action against the Prime Minister. Some of us plan on how to grill the Prime Minister and it is a waste of time if we plan and he does not show up.

On a point of order, Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir. Is the Assistant Minister in order to mislead the House that the Government does not have funds when we know very well that the Government is due to auction four-wheel-drive vehicles which were being used by the Ministers?
