Hon. Deputy Speaker, the Constitution is very clear on gender balance in public appointments. Out of the ten persons nominated for appointment, Barassa is coming in to fill the gender requirement. This wonderful lady might have made mistakes in terms of attitude but people change. Wherever she is, she must be listening. Looking at the composition of the commission, from the North Eastern region, we have two representatives. From Nyanza region, we have two representatives. Hon. Deputy Speaker, some two weeks ago I had requested for a Statement from the Leader of the Majority Party regarding the President’s visit to China. He promised to give feedback within three days. Indeed, we consulted afterwards and he said that I should give him time because of the Westgate issue. So, I want to remind him. I am sure he has the Statement. If he has it today, I will appreciate.
