• 15 Jul 2021 in Senate: I encourage the Government to fully sponsor courses in these VTCs in order to attract more learners and it will be a solution to the problems we are having. Our children will get skills and it will reduce crimes in our society because there are so many youths who are idling in the villages. I support this Bill. The closure of the Kericho Law Courts has affected the southern part of Rift Valley. This court has been serving Bomet and some parts of Kisii. Closure of this particular institution is closing justice to the people of the South Rift. As a result of the closure, people who committed petty offences are rotting in police custody. • 7 Jul 2021 in Senate: Thank you, Madam Temporary Speaker for also giving me this chance to add my voice on this issue on irregular eviction of people by the KRC. I was shocked some few months ago when I was coming through Nakuru route to find out that people were doing a lot of demonstrations. When I asked I was told that the KRC had demolished most of the businesses along their land. In fact, I later on asked the leadership from that region and they explained to me clearly that the houses of those people were demolished without notice. A lot of destruction ... view
