Furthermore, it plays a major role in promoting tourism in this country. There is also need to make Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) a regional hub, so that we can accrue the benefits that go with the achievement of such a status. The delays have allegedly caused the county governments to default on their statutory obligations and commitments. The delays have disrupted implementation of planned activities by both the county executives and assemblies.
