• 24 Aug 2010 in National Assembly: comprised of 36 sites. It was done in the first phase and it is still ongoing. The second and final phase will be undertaken during this financial year. I confirm that the funds are available and the construction has already started. I am aware that the advertisements inviting tenders for construction of all the district headquarters was done on 12th November, 2009. However, after that decision was taken, the tenders were cancelled through an advertisement on 27th January, 2010. view

• 8 Jul 2010 in National Assembly: (a)The construction of the new district headquarters for Trans Nzoia West District has not been completed as the project stalled due to lack of funds after a cost revision. This is among the stalled projects the Government is now in the process of completing. view
