As it has been said by almost all the Senators, this is a devolved function. Ninety percent of the doctors work in the counties. Article 26(1) of the Constitution states that every person has a fundamental right to life. I will refer you again to Article 43(1) (a), which states that every person has the right to the highest standard of health.   • 17 Apr 2024 in Senate: It takes huge sacrifice. The CBA states a 300 per cent increase. We need the President's intervention to talk to the doctors. Every minute, a Kenyan woman, man, or young person is dying. If you look at the CBA that they signed, one of the doctors said that the strike was over, but the dispute remains.
