Gumboâs proposition for the simple reason that there is a clear distinction between my amendment, which was going to be contrary to the Constitution, as opposed to the amendment of hon. Gumbo who is simply saying that these people who will be going before courts should not, because amongst the duties they will have is to promote and even transfer judges and judicial staff. Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, I wanted to withdraw my amendment to Clause 19. The reason I am giving is that with the improvement on the functions of the Judiciary that was made by the Minister on Clause 8, I think we do not need to devolve the Commission, but we can devolve the judges.
