  • 19 May 2009 in National Assembly: Madam Temporary Deputy Chair, looking at the explanations that the Minister has given us--- In fact, when you look at that proposal, it does not really take away any powers that we have gained through the Fiscal Management Bill. Therefore, we support. view
  • 19 May 2009 in National Assembly: Madam Temporary Deputy Chair, we need to say that, again, the proposal is harmless and good. We, from this side, do support. view
  • 14 May 2009 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, thank you for giving me this opportunity. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, something very curious has been happening in the investment area. • 14 May 2009 in National Assembly: Thank you Mr. Kiunjuri, my good friend. In fact, the company that has been in the media is called Track-It. So I stand corrected and thank you for that. view
  • 14 May 2009 in National Assembly: Yes, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. view

When you come into a country and want to take forward payments from the nationals, the Treasury and Government demand some protection for their citizens. In this case, there is nothing in the Treasury. Could the Minister do something about it? This is the body of my request for a Statement. view
  • 14 May 2009 in National Assembly: Yes, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. view
  • 14 May 2009 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, the deeper question is that of the financial regulation, which I think, should be addressed by the relevant Minister. I also, would not mind the Minister for Information and Communications to in-feed. The problem is the lack of financial regulations as a whole. If they can in-feed into that, it can be wonderful. view
  • 14 May 2009 in National Assembly: On a point of order, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. I have not been given a definite date. The Minister said: "We will communicate". That is not complete. view
  • 13 May 2009 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I beg to give notice of the following Motion: - THAT, aware of the need for reforms in all Government institutions, including the Cabinet, in order to enhance good governance; this House urges the Government to facilitate induction and training on financial and resource management for all Ministers, Assistant and other Constitutional office holders. view
