Ni mafundi ambao wanatajika kwa jina vijijini lakini wakienda kujitafutia nafasi ya kujiendeleza, wanakuta hawawezi pata nafasi. Tunajua nchi yetu sana imekumbwa na umaskini, watu wetu mashinani wanachangamoto nyingi. Wengi katika vile vituo ambavyo vinaitwa TVET vilikuwa vimedharaulika sana mbeleni kwamba ni wale tu ambao wanakosa kufanikwa kuenda shule za upili lakini mafundi wengi tunaowajua hawana vyeti. We have families whose members had never been to secondary school in this country. Through the NG- CDF, we have seen students from these families get to secondary schools and finish Form Four.   • 18 Oct 2018 in National Assembly: On the issue of oversight committees, we are given mandate as patrons of the NG-CDF to appoint four people as oversight committee members. However, they only get 2 per cent of the monitory and evaluation amount. For instance, in the last Financial Year, they only had Kshs60,000 for the whole year. This is something the board and the NG-CDF Committee need to look at and review it. Oversight should be given its space. view
