  • 20 Jun 2013 in Senate: Asante, Bi Spika wa Muda. Tatizo ... view

In that Bill, we have been told that the telephone mobile providers were to share infrastructure. We have also been told here that there is abundant infrastructure in place, especially that which was owned by Telkom Kenya all over the country. I support by saying we reactivate what was passed in 2008. The Communication Commission of Kenya (CCK) should force the service providers to share the ... view
  • 23 May 2013 in Senate: On a point of order, Mr. Chairman, Sir. I heard you propose that we go clause by clause as we vote. We are of the opinion that we should go through the report and if it is approved, we vote at once instead of voting clause by clause because that will take a very long time and yet we have other business that we would want to undertake. view
  • 22 May 2013 in Senate: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, thank you for giving me this opportunity to support this Motion. This Motion comes at the right time when the county governments are looking at creative ways of increasing economic performance. Therefore, looking at the natural resources for them to exploit and increase their revenue is the right thing to do. Let me talk about Taita Taveta County. In this county 62 per cent of the land mass is occupied by wild animals and Kenya Wildlife Society (KWS). About four per cent are the hills that produce water which goes to Mombasa City.
