  • 6 Mar 2019 in National Assembly: Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, I know Hon. Keter has a lot of interests, but I did not know that he has an interest in this particular matter. What I was saying is that our airports, especially the international airports, are governed by international rules and they should follow the due process of the law. Hon. Millie has said that she has travelled to more than 50 countries. If you are stranded in a foreign land, you can imagine the stress we are giving to our international visitors who have come to this country as investors. We risk losing our international ... view

  • 6 Mar 2019 in National Assembly: Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, the Member is out of order by saying that it was wrong for people to be chased. • 5 Mar 2019 in National Assembly: Thank you very much, Hon. Chairman. I do not have any story. I do not know what the basis of this amendment was. However, due to lack of funds, he was not able to join that particular school. It is only through the intervention of the County Commissioner, Mr. Natembeya, that I heard that the boy has joined another day secondary school. Now the boy lives in a church and attends a day secondary school yet this boy attained 371 marks from a small day public school, Osonkoroi Primary School. The Member of Parliament ... view
  • 20 Feb 2019 in National Assembly: Thank you very much, Hon. Deputy Speaker. I do support delocalisation but not like Hon. Atandi who supports it because his mother-in-law was transferred; you know some of us may not be very comfortable with our mothers-in-law. We support delocalisation because it will bring cohesion; it will eliminate the issue of ethnicity. Sometimes our children are impacted with fake knowledge about other tribes and communities. When they are taught by teachers from other communities, it will assist them to appreciate other tribes of this country. But as we implement delocalisation, let us remember that there are also persons with disability ... view
