  • 26 May 2011 in National Assembly: (c) When will the Ministry stop the practice of arbitrary transfer of heads of well performing and established schools in the middle of the year? view
  • 26 May 2011 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, this is one of the schools in my area which has been performing extremely well because of this principal who was transferred abruptly. He was transferred on 18th May and not on 21st of April as explained by the Assistant Minister. This is a school which has always recorded a mean grade of 8.6 or 8.9 throughout the four years he was the principal there. He was then removed abruptly in the middle of the year. Could the Assistant Minister tell us whether they have proper policy which addresses the transfer of teachers, principals or ... view
  • 26 May 2011 in National Assembly: On a point of order, Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir. I do not see any harm or threat to any quarters that these opinion polls are causing. In future, Kenyans should be left alone. Those who want to go or think towards those opinion polls, the way they have been put, should always be let alone to do that. Those who do not want to ... view
  • 25 May 2011 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, with those few remarks, I oppose the Motion. view

  • 18 May 2011 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I brought a Question to this House when coffee farmers actually were getting the same benefit of their loans being written off and the Minister for Agriculture by then, promised that come April this year, they will also consider the sugar-cane farmers’ loans that could be written off. So, I would want the Minister for Agriculture to fast-track that and make sure that, that is brought to this House for approval, so that the waiver can also go to benefit the sugarcane farmers. view
