I think the Assistant Minister has addressed my concerns. If they are going to surcharge the Ministry of Public Works and then in the end the Ministry of Public Works would now look for the money from whoever misled the entire Ministry, then that is okay.

Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, this problem is very rampant. In my own constituency of Nyakach, I have five projects which have not been commissioned for the last two years. The reason we are given by the KPLC is that they do not have transformers. Could the Assistant Minister confirm when they will have sufficient transformers in order to commission all the projects that have been constructed in the country?

Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, so many people have died or lost their lives while the Government is watching. It is the Government which licences those who brew the illicit alcohol. When is he going to consider compensating those who have lost their lives? It is the Government which has left those people to thrive in that illegal business!
