  • 24 Jul 2014 in National Assembly: On a point of order, hon. Deputy Speaker. I rise under Standing Order No.35. Is there a quorum in the House? view
  • 23 Jul 2014 in National Assembly: Hon. Deputy Speaker, I beg to request a Statement from the Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Administration and National Security regarding housing and routine maintenance of offices for the Assistant County Commissioners, Chiefs, Administration and regular police officers in the County. view
  • 23 Jul 2014 in National Assembly: Thank you, hon. Deputy Speaker. This issue should not just be a county issue only. Those items should be sent to the constituencies. For example, we have never heard of this in Saboti Constituency which I represent. The Ministry should come out clearly and tell our girls how they can access those things. view

The Vice- Chairperson should know that this Statement appeared on the Order Paper indicating that it will be responded to this morning. He cannot purport to say that he was not aware of that. More so, we have clerks who service the Committee and they must have communicated to the Vice-Chair. view
  • 11 Jun 2014 in National Assembly: Thank you, hon. Speaker. I am seeking your guidance on an issue I have noticed in this House. This morning, the Chairperson of the Administration and National Security Committee purported not to be aware of the Statement that was on the Order Paper and it was supposed to be responded to this morning. This afternoon, my good friend, hon. Letimalo, has also claimed that he was not aware that his response was supposed to be on the Order Paper today. I am seeking your guidance on how we are going to conduct business when we, hon. Members, know that all ... view
