In the Statement, the Committee should- (1) Provide a list of all the county projects, including their respective locations and status of completion, as well as breakdown of budgetary allocation for projects and expenditure for the financial year 2022/2023 and 2023/2024. • 14 Feb 2024 in Senate: Thank you, Madam Temporary Speaker. I stand to support this amendment and I wish to congratulate Sen. Osotsi for coming up with it. It is long overdue. Many of the issues that I wanted to bring up have been mentioned by my colleagues and I will not go over them again. On the issue of the IG of the Police, I remember we had two instances when two Governors were supposed to be arrested, but unfortunately, the IG failed this House. As a House, we must have a fall back in the event that the IG refuses to arrest witnesses. view

This has to be looked into at critically. I remember in the last Session, there was a governor who said that he was out of the country on official duty. I stand here to oppose this list, simply because Jubilee being the third largest political party has been locked out in many committees. I think that will be a debate for another day. view
