  • 6 Dec 2006 in National Assembly: Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, I beg to move:- THAT, the Bill be amended in the citation of Part VII by deleting the word "EQUITY" and substituting therefor the words "HIV and AIDS." Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, the amendment is meant to delete the word "antibody" because we are dealing with HIV/AIDS which we already know is a virus. By consensus, the Board that will be set up will be known as the HIV/AIDS Board, so in this amendment, we are deleting the word "EQUITY" and substituting it with the words "HIV and AIDS." view

The clause is amended so that new subclause is introduced to allow the tribunal the latitude to summon experts in its deliberations. view
