  • 30 Jul 2020 in National Assembly: question sometime in March 2020 and I have not received invitation to appear before the Committee. I understand the pressure the Ministry is going through because of COVID-19. This matter regarded one Rachael Kasyoka Kioko who is a person living with disability. It is a matter which also needed to be given attention. Therefore, Hon. Speaker, I seek your guidance on how to proceed with that Question. • 10 Feb 2020 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Speaker. On behalf of the people of Mwingi Central and Kitui County, I wish to convey our condolences to the family of Mzee Moi and Kenyans in general. Mzee Moi was a hero. He spent most of his life serving Kenyans. We in Kitui remember him for ensuring that we were always represented in the Cabinet. He was a philanthropist and a cheerful giver to those who got opportunity to meet him. I remember him for the milk he gave us in primary school. At the university, he used to visit us at the cafeteria and dance ... view
  • 29 Oct 2019 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. Thank you, Hon. Duale for supporting me. You can be my voter. I sympathise with Hon. Wario who is my neighbour in my constituency. I know what he is going through. If it was my town which was destroyed, I would also be agitated and raise the same issues. view
  • 29 Oct 2019 in National Assembly: Historically, Kambas have no problem with Somalis. We have no problem with Oromos. I have no problem with Hon. Duale who is my neighbour. I also have no problem with Hon. Ali Wario and the other Hon. Wario who is a Member of Wiper Democratic Movement of Kenya (WDM-K) and short like me. The problems we have are criminals and herders who cross boundaries. They come and graze their camels on private land and destroy homes. They kill and maim. That is the problem we have. As Hon. Makali Mulu has said, I have more than 500 Somalis who vote ... view

  • 26 Sep 2019 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Deputy Speaker. I rise to support this Petition. That petitioner is thinking ahead of us. It is a very good Petition. I support it fully. Recently, we had a tragedy in Dagoretti at the Precious Talent School where some kids died and others were injured. If consideration of this Petition had been completed, those kids would have been compensated very fast. I rise to support this Petition and ask the Committee in charge to bring the Report very quickly to the House so that we can adopt it. The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is ... view

This was supposed to be answered before the census ... view
  • 18 Sep 2019 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Speaker for your advice. I still desire to get an answer because the Question concerned relief food and water supply. My constituents are currently suffering from hunger and lack of water. I wanted a response so that I know whether the relief food is still there or it is finished. view
