  • 25 May 2017 in Senate: Mr. Speaker, Sir, thank you for giving me the opportunity to add my voice to the petition. My contribution is on the petition on the establishment of a sugarcane factory in Kisii County. I support the idea, the vision and the governor. I believe it is because it will create more opportunities to the people of Kisii and improve the economic growth and status of the county in terms of physical accessibility and development. That is a noble cause in terms of counties and devolution because a county is a country on its own and such establishments improve the growth ... view

I oppose the extension of time so as to allow us to add more names. That will be cutting the powers of the political parties. If there is ... view

  • 6 Apr 2017 in Senate: Thank you Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, for allowing me to join you in welcoming the visiting students from JKUAT. I appreciate their effort. They should also come up with a programme that will empower the marginalised groups of people in this country. Otherwise I wish them a fruitful stay as they continue learning. view

I come from Kakamega and I neighbour Shibale. The answer she has given us cannot even make the family to vote for the Jubilee Government. Is she in order to add some pain to the family that lost a dear one? Can she give us an answer that can touch the mind and hearts of the people? People die in this country but justice has never seen the light of day. view

  • 22 Feb 2017 in Senate: Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir, for allowing me to make my contribution to this Motion. I want to support the Motion because we need to move from an informed perspective by having a calendar that will direct us on when to be in the House and when to be in our counties meeting our people. It is important that this House is directed through a calendar that has been approved by Members of the House. For that reason, I support. view
