Section 8 of the Teachers Service Act, 2012, is explicit on the manner in which the chairperson and the commissioners are to be recruited. It is only after the list of those who have been interviewed is exhausted that a fresh interview can be conducted. Right now, there is serious impunity. There is violation of the Teachers Service Act. There are still people for nomination by the Head of State. So, it is clear that the list is not exhausted. Why should the Kamunge team re-advertise the same positions when there are duly qualified ... view
