I do not need to over-emphasize the importance of fertilizer in farming. I wanted to recommend that the Ministry of Finance alongside the Ministry of Agriculture should work hand-in-hand so that Treasury can provide money in good time so that, that fertilizer can be availed to farmers in good time. I am not only talking about the availability of fertilizer. We want the fertilizer to be available in good prices so that farmers can afford to buy it.
