Mr. Speaker, Sir, you have heard the Assistant Minister say that he is not sure. Part âcâ of his answer, says the investigations are going on. However, he is not sure of the investigations. Is it appropriate to conclude this Question when he admits that he is not sure whether the investigations are correct or whether this lady died in police cells? If she reported to the police, where else will they have put her if it was not in cell?

Mr. Speaker, Sir, while we may accept the explanation and answer given by the Minister, I recall that yesterday, the same Minister said that the designs have been done for roads all over the country. It is not yet a confirmation that once a road design is complete, it will be tarmacked. Since he has explained that these are three roads the hon. Member is asking about, could he commit himself to do at least one road? When will the Minister be ready to start tarmacking the roads whose designs are ready?

By so doing, we lose quality market overseas. What action is the Assistant Minister taking to ensure that whatever is exported is of high

On a point of order, Mr. Speaker, Sir. You have heard the Assistant Minister say that they are âorganizingâ. Is that a policy or is it a matter of some farmers in self-help groups doing the job? Could he give some timeframe when we are going to start selling quality nuts and mangoes to earn this country good income?

Mr. Speaker, Sir, maybe, the Assistant Minister could tell the House the truth. They may not be IDPs, but they may be Kenyans who have been moved from one settlement scheme to another. Could he tell us whether the responsibility of feeding these Kenyans is the Governmentâs or not? Are they hungry IDPs or squatters? Are their children catered for? Whose responsibility is it to cater for these Kenyans?

Mr. Speaker, Sir, while we appreciate the answer given by the Assistant Minister, that road cuts through Mombasa all the way to Garissa in northern Kenya. Could the Assistant Minister consider getting more funding because Kshs17 million will not complete the project? Does he have any intention to factor that project under the current financial year so that the road is motorable all the way from Mombasa to Garissa?
