Indeed the crime of vandalism of telecommunications plants and electricity transmission equipment is on the rampant increase in Kenya. The incumbent national telecommunication operator; Telkom Kenya Limited, and the national power transmission company; Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC), are seriously faced with this vice.
