  • 17 Nov 2010 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, as I was sitting with hon. Olago here, who asked for this Ministerial Statement, he was very clear. He told me that he is the one who drafted the Statement the Assistant Minister is giving. So, what is this we are doing here? That is what he told me right over here. view

  • 16 Nov 2010 in National Assembly: On a point of order, Mr. Speaker, Sir. The Minister has just rose to answer the Question and yet he was not here when the Question was called out first. I just want to take you back a little bit to what happened in this House when the President presented the name of the Leader of Government Business and the Chair rejected that name because there was no consultation made between the President and the Prime Minister. As we speak right now, you have heard very clearly how hon. Githae has said that the leader of the party has made a decision which cannot be subjected to any scrutiny by any other person. Mr. Speaker, Sir, the point of order that I ... view
  • 30 Sep 2010 in National Assembly: As we speak here, I belong to the PNU and because I do not see my Chairman here and I am the Vice-chairman, I am the senior most member of PNU in this House at this minute. I was not consulted by anybody. Is the hon. Githae, who is my junior in the party, in order to mislead the House that PNU as a whole has made a decision while you know very clearly that is not the position? view
  • 18 Aug 2010 in National Assembly: asked the Minister of State for Provincial Administration and Internal Security:- (a) whether he is aware that on 13th April 1994, there was an accident along Kigumo-Kangari Road involving a GK 660F, a Land Rover attached to Kigumo Police Station; (b) whether he could confirm that among the passengers involved in the accident was the then Senior Chief for Kangari Location, Mr. Sammy Njoroge Mwangi, Case File No.AF/F/94, who has not yet been compensated by the Government. (c) when the Government will settle this claim. view
  • 18 Aug 2010 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I want to thank the Assistant Minister for that competent answer. I reckon that this case has been there for the last 16 years. It has taken a lot of time. I know that there was a court case in Murang’a although I do not have all the particulars with me. I will want to work with the Assistant Minister so that we can have this case sorted out. I am satisfied. view
