(1) The National Committee or the relevant County Policing licence. Authority may refuse to issue to an applicant, a licence to conduct a public collection where— (a)the application for a licence does not comply with this Act; (b) the applicant — (i) is an undischarged bankrupt; or (ii) has been found guilty of an offence under this Act; Again, this is to bring in the National Committee. It was a typo error. view

Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 34 of the Bill be amended- (a) in sub-clause (1) by deleting the words “the Authority” and substituting therefor the words “a County Policing Authority”; (b) by inserting the following new sub-clause immediately after sub- clause (3) “(4) A person aggrieved by the decision of the National Committee may, within thirty days of the notification of the decision, appeal to the High Court.” This is to allow those affected by the decision of National Committee to go to the High Court to seek revocation. view
