We have heard some reports that the Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) is about to be disbanded, because when you talk of head teachers, deputies and senior teachers not joining that Union, what is the Government up to? Since the inception of the KNUT, we have never had this problem. That is an issue that I want to raise.

On a point of order, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. You directed the Assistant Minister to be specific about time. The time he has given before this House is "as soon as possible". How soon is that? Could we know the time?

Mr. Speaker, Sir, while I want to commend the Assistant Minister for at least taking action when I have been complaining about cattle rustling in Migori, there is a new dimension which he should address now. Of late, these people have decided to run to the neighbouring country in the southern part. I do not know what steps the Government is taking to ensure that we have security along the border with our neighbours down in Tanzania.

Mr. Speaker, Sir, while I also appreciate the gesture by the Assistant Minister to tour Nyatike, I just want to know whether he can also assure me, through this House that, on his way to Nyatike, which was split from Migori, he will pass through Migori and see the problems we have on the same matter?
