As Members of Parliament, we need to be at the front in playing this role because many visitors who have visited this country sometimes back do not visit these days. The last time when I was in Mombasa in a big hotel called Whitesands, I only managed to see two Chinese families as the only foreigners who were there. We need to be serious on the issue of insecurity in this country. view

• 24 Jul 2014 in National Assembly: Hon. Deputy Speaker, I was wondering how the Chairman was answering some questions. This does not include all parts of the country. There are other areas which are still under-developed, like Bungoma County. I always regard Bungoma as a marginalised county because there is no good development there. Sirisia Stadium should have been included in the list of those regions where stadi are being built. In regions like western, there is only one stadium. Areas which are already developed are still getting more development than other areas. They should consider areas which are not developed. view

Ever since they have been under the OP, so many things have gone wrong. That is why we have a problem of insecurity. Sometimes, even when you go to the District Commissioners (DCs), they do not have fuel. That happens even with the police. That is why corruption is there.
