  • 14 Feb 2017 in Senate: Bw. Kusema kweli, yeyote anawezakuongoza ikiwa Rais Kenyatta bado ... view

  • 14 Feb 2017 in Senate: Bw.
  • 5 Jan 2017 in Senate: On a point of order, Mr. Speaker, Sir. Are the Senators here really in order to continue accusing Sen. Ong’era on the remarks that were made by Sen. (Prof.) Anyang'-Nyong'o yet they did not question Sen. (Prof.) Anyang'-Nyong'o? view
  • 5 Jan 2017 in Senate: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, I am not challenging the Chair, but the meeting that was being held there was to discuss and sort out the Motion that was raised by Sen. Sang. That stopped there. We are now on the substantive Motion, but I stand to guided. view
  • 5 Jan 2017 in Senate: Mr. Speaker, Sir, thank you. I have been waiting for a chance just to say one thing. This House must read a great sinister motive coming from Sen. Obure. Sen. Obure was elected on the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) ticket which is under the CORD. We cannot allow him to write a letter and give it to the opposing side. The party’s position must be respected. It cost us time and everything to sponsor this man to be the Senator. So, nullify the vote. Mr. Speaker, Sir, I warn him not to defile the country because the country cannot be ... view
  • 1 Dec 2016 in Senate: Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, I want to put the record straight because I am a Member of the Joint committee. The meetings that have been taking place but have never been chaired by Sen. Kivuti, but by Sen. Orengo. When Sen. Kivuti attended the last meeting, he was an interested party. His deliberations were based on the positions that he believed in and the group he was representing. Therefore, I concur with Sen. Karaba that he has never been attending other meetings thus has no responsibility to report anything to do with this Joint Committee. Sen. Adan is a co-chairperson ... view
  • 1 Dec 2016 in Senate: Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, I want to seek more clarification. view
  • 1 Dec 2016 in Senate: Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, I wish to thank the Chairperson for giving us truthful answers that will help this House. The Chairperson should try as much as possible to consult with the Cabinet Secretary and come out clearly to state why governors are diverting money, which is transferred by the National Treasury, to different banks accounts. For example, Machakos County has five accounts in Chase Bank; Kisii County has more than six counties and Nyandarua has got more than seven bank accounts. Why does the National Treasury allow this? Funds are being squandered and stolen in the counties. We need ... view
