25 Sep 2013 in National Assembly:
Hon. Speaker, Sir, I sympathize with my friend, the Chairman. When it comes to giving the Statement which had very many clarifications sought by Members, he says that that matter ends there. Is he taking the business of this House seriously? This Statement had very many clarifications sought but he casually takes us round and then says that that matter ends there. Is it in order for him to do that?

Hon. Deputy Speaker, I want to ask my friend, the Chairman, whether he can bring it on Tuesday. We have seen what happened to our colleague, hon. Kiuna, when he was in the constituency. So, those things are happening. It is a matter of urgency. I know that he is capable of bringing it on Tuesday.

Thank you, hon. Speaker, Sir. About two months ago, I requested a statement from the Committee on Education, Research and Technology. The issue concerned Legal Notice No.534 and Legal Notice No.16. It was about the teachers strike. The Chairperson promised to bring that statement in the House in two weeks’ time yet I have not received the statement. I need your guidance on the same.

25 Jun 2013 in National Assembly:
Thank you, hon. Speaker Sir. I would like to bring to the attention of the House and the hon. Speaker that on January 3rd, 2013, the Committee on Delegated Legislation tabled a report about the same. It was adopted by the House, so I think the Committee should - I do not know how - go ahead to quash Legal Notice No.16 of 2003. I seek your guidance, hon. Speaker, Sir.
