I want to start by congratulating the Budget and Appropriations Committee for the good work it has done. Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker for giving me this opportunity to comment on the Presidential Address. I want to start by echoing the President for a well-balanced Speech to the nation. The President covered all the areas that ought to have been covered. In no uncertain terms, he repeated that there is no turning back on fighting the enemies of Kenya, foreign or domestic.
