Joyce Laboso very well having been our Deputy Speaker in the 11th Parliament. She was both a leader and a very good mentor especially for our girls and women in general in this country. • 25 Jul 2019 in National Assembly: Hon. Speaker, as expected, the answer will come from the Ministry of Planning which is in charge of census, but we are yet to get a response from them. view
• 25 Jul 2019 in National Assembly: We have seen public pronouncement by the Director General (DG) who is in charge of the KNBS himself pronouncing that the youth, especially who are not employed are given priority for jobs of enumerators. This is because enumerators’ qualification is not prohibitive for anybody. It does not need a lot of experience because it is a matter of just knowing the area. In fact, enumerators are employed from the local area, therefore, no youth in this country is unable to do that. view
• 25 Jul 2019 in National Assembly: So, I can confirm the DG himself pronounced in public that those jobs especially for enumerators should be given to the youth who are unemployed. Otherwise, we are waiting for official communication when they appear before our Committee. view

The Constitution is very clear on the roles of the two Houses of Parliament when it comes to decisions regarding sharing of revenue between the two levels of Government. Under Article 95, the National Assembly determines how national revenue is shared between the two levels of Government.
