  • 5 Jun 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, while I appreciate the answer given by the Assistant Minister, what plans do they have, as a Ministry, to harmonize the relationship between the residents bordering various national parks and the wildlife so that they can feel part and parcel of the wildlife conservation, especially those who are living around the Nakuru National Park? Do they have any plans to employ or come up with some projects to assist the people so that they can also feel parcel of the efforts to conserve the wildlife? view
  • 5 Jun 2012 in National Assembly: On a point of order, Mr. Speaker, Sir. This Question was asked about two weeks ago. When this Question was asked in this House, the Minister did not give a satisfactory answer and it was referred to the relevant Committee of Equal Opportunity. Would I be in order to seek the indulgence of the Chair---- view

  • 31 May 2012 in National Assembly: Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, while I appreciate the effort the Government is making to reduce cattle rustling, what is the Ministry doing to reduce the high tension between those two communities? This is not the first time we have heard of cattle rustling in our Republic. What long term measures is the Government putting in place to make sure that this bad habit of cattle rustling is eradicated once and for all? view
  • 30 May 2012 in National Assembly: On a point of order, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. Will I be in order also to seek your indulgence since the Minister has said very clearly that under Vision 2030, they are going to county level--- view
  • 30 May 2012 in National Assembly: The answer he has given here is not very clear. Will I be in order to request your indulgence so that this Question can be deferred until when he will come up with a conclusive answer of all the stadia in the counties? In my county, we have the Afraha Stadium, but he has not mentioned it. I seek your indulgence. view
  • 30 May 2012 in National Assembly: Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. It is in public domain that the issue of national security has affected our country. What action has the Government taken against our disciplined forces because we have already seen that some of them who are supposed to protect us are in the forefront in some corruption cases? What measures has the Government taken to make sure that these officers are well-disciplined so that when they have been given that task, they will do it to the best of their knowledge? view
  • 30 May 2012 in National Assembly: Thank you, Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir. This is a very serious allegation which will affect almost all motorists in the Republic. So that this does not recur again, what action or measures has the Ministry taken to ensure that it will not occur again? What action has the Ministry taken against all those people who may have caused this problem? view
  • 17 May 2012 in National Assembly: asked the Minister for Lands:- (a) whether he is aware that farmers in Nessuit, Teret, Kapkembu, Sururu, Likia and Sigotik locations in Njoro District cannot access credit facilities from banking institutions because their title deeds were revoked; (b) whether he is also aware that the title deeds to Marioshoni, Ngongogeri and Kapsita settlement schemes were also revoked; and, (c) when the title deeds will be validated so that the farmers can use them as collateral for credit facilities. view
  • 17 May 2012 in National Assembly: Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. While I appreciate the answer given by the Assistant Minister, since he has stated that farmers in Nessuit, Teret, Sururu, Likia and Sigotik locations in Njoro District cannot access banking facilities because their title deeds are restricted but not revoked, when does he intend to lift the restriction so that they can get these services that other Kenyans get freely? view
