Due to the heavy rains which have been experienced throughout the country, I would like to ask the Assistant Minister how much money has been set aside as emergency funds to cater for the roads which have been destroyed by rains, especially in Molo Constituency and Mau- Narok, which is about 15 kilometers from the road from Narok. I am not asking that for the roads in Molo but for the entire country. view

It seems as if they are giving him the wrong information. I wish to seek your advice on whether these two Questions could be referred to the Departmental Committee on Administration and National Security for it to investigate the matter thoroughly and report back to the House. view

He alluded to the fact that some offices in the Provincial Administration may be abolished. This statement has not been taken lightly by the provincial administrators in the whole country. It has created a lot of panic. view

However, I am glad that the Assistant Minister has now come out clearly and stated the Government’s position about the Provincial Administration. I hope that from today henceforth, any Government officer will be in agreement with him that the Provincial Administration is here to stay and that it will not be scrapped. view
