Given that the Government has allocated some funds to the Ministry, and given the economic hardships in Kenya, could the Prime Minister undertake to waive the fees payable for the issuance or replacement of ID cards which are lost because many people are unable to pay? view

• 10 May 2011 in National Assembly: Mr. Speaker, Sir, this road was constructed in the 1960s and it runs from Ahero, Oyugis, Kisii to Migori. This is an international road that serves Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. Given its size, a number of people have passed away along that road. A Member of this House was involved in a road accident along the same road. The pothole which caused the accident has not even been filled to date. A Government that only supports the recurrent costs--- We know very well that proper planning means a well planned Government that can move a country forward.
