• 19 Mar 2014 in National Assembly: Those of us who have visited such places realise that ASALs are places where we can have serious investment in terms of water harvesting. We now have rain. In some areas of this country, including my constituency, there is water deficit. All the water that we receive will go to waste and we will continue having problems. So, if we invest more funds in the area of water harvesting and practise irrigated agriculture, we can secure the livelihoods of our people better.
