Farah for bringing this very important Motion which affect almost all the people in ASAL areas, especially the pastoralists. Hon. Farah saw the need for this fund and I want my colleagues to understand that this is not commercial insurance. Hon. Farah’s Motion urges the Government to establish a livestock insurance fund which can be under any Ministry, be it Agriculture, Agricultural Finance Corporation (AFC) or any other body.
