  • 3 Dec 2015 in National Assembly: from National Environment Management Authority (NEMA). That is the whole meaning of this. This is a very important law that we are changing today. • 3 Dec 2015 in National Assembly: Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, I want to request the Chair of the Departmental Committee to further amend the amendment so that instead of six years, he takes it to 10 years. view
  • 3 Dec 2015 in National Assembly: Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, if he deletes it, it would mean that if you get permission for development, it will be open-ended to infinity. • 2 Dec 2015 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairlady. I want to agree with the amendment of the first part because Chapter Six was appearing as if it is not part of the Constitution. On the second part, I also want to concur with the Member of Parliament for Narok that CDF is a political Fund where you send your chairman to go and give out cheques somewhere in the constituency. view

  • 18 Nov 2015 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. Today in the morning, Tunaweza Civil Society launched a research on literacy and numeracy in our schools as per county. I congratulate Kajiado County because it was position two. I want to emphasise on the ranking of students who perform well, but do not get chances to go to good schools. Those are the people who can make this country. If we give them a chance to learn, we are going to uplift our country. That is a very good point. Another point is on the establishment of sub-county boards. In my view, this ... view
