The reason is that the amendment as proposed was carried out in the Land Laws (Amendment) Act, 2016. So, it was a replica. Thank you. If we are going to put it in this Bill, it is going to be double legislation. The Committee was of the view that since it has already taken effect in the Land Laws (Amendment) Act, 2016, there is no need to import it here. view
