Thank you, hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman. I think the amendment as sought by hon. Odhiambo-Mabona is in order. It gives the President a chance to know the kind of person he is conferring the honour.

Thank you, hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman. I think heroism is not an act of age. It is an act of performance and when we recognise children here, it is going to encourage them.

Thank you, hon. Speaker. This is a very weighty matter and I think many students have been asking about it. As a Committee, we will take it with a lot of seriousness and we will report back to the House after two weeks.

Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, having listened to the Memorandum of the President, more so, the idea that he has opened the insurance industry to the East African region partner states, the President has taken the step of bringing integration into the insurance industry and making Kenya a leader in partnership in East Africa. I would request the Chairperson to inform this House what action they have ...

Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, I think this is a response to what has happened and it has taken long now. It is almost two months and I have not seen any action. If he gives me that Statement in one week, it will be better. The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
