• 5 Aug 2020 in National Assembly: Thank you, Hon. Deputy Speaker. I rise to second the Motion requesting the Report to be debated by Members of Parliament. This Report has serious public interest. It will be prudent enough for Members to, at least, go through the Report so that they can understand what is going on in our Ministries. This is because, the Report involves serious Government institutions like the KDF, the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Lands and Physical Planning. Therefore, I stand to second. Sharriff Nassir kwa kuweza kuja na Ripoti hii ambayo kusema ukweli, siyo Ripoti ambayo itatumika kwa sababu ya majanga yaliyotokea kwa vivukio vya feri. Lakini Ripoti hii inaweza kutumika kwa njia zote kuhakikisha kuwa usalama wetu umedumishwa na vitengo ambavyo vimepewa nafasi hii. • 5 Dec 2019 in National Assembly: Kulingana na Ripoti hii, kuna umuhimu Serikali iwe katika zile pesa zinaombwa na shirika kama hili, zipatiwa kwa sababu hili si jambo la barabara wala si jambo la kutumika kiholela lakini ni jambo ambalo kila siku linabeba watu na hivi vivukio ambavyo viko ndani ya nchi yetu. Si ndege, ferry, ni lazima zile pesa ambazo wakiomba wapatiwe ili tusinyooshe vidole kwa wale wanaosimamia mashirika kama haya. Ripoti hii pia imependekeza kuwa katika hizi feri, zikiwa zinatumika kila siku, ni lazima wale watakao kuwa pale ndani kuwe na wale wapiga mbizi ambao wataweza kusaidi kwa majanga kwa wakati wowote. view
