Nonetheless, Standing Order No.41(1) regarding the quorum states that- “If at any time in the course of the proceedings of the Senate a Senator objects that there is not a quorum present, the Speaker or the Chairperson shall count the Senators present in the Senate or the Committee as the case may be.” Thank you, Madam Temporary Speaker.

Thank you, Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir. I also rise to support the Senate Mashinani. It is a good and great initiative. We shall explore Turkana. We know that it as a dry area that does not have hotels, so we will sleep in manyattas . Therefore, it will be a good experience. It will be also an opportunity for us to drink blood and eat raw meat.

It would be good though to sleep in manyattas. I urge the KEWOSA team to prepare themselves to visit many areas like the prison in order to take some goodies like beddings and sanitary pads.
