Some of the most heroic performances in security operations, not just in Kenya, but anywhere in the world, are done by non-core officers. For a person to volunteer to protect other people, there is something over and above a job and the pay that they receive. I will say a couple of things because I know time is not on my side. I had consultations with the Clerk and I discovered that the Statute Law (Miscellaneous Amendments) Bill was one of the Bills that had been placed for possible debate yesterday.
