  • 27 Jun 2007 in National Assembly: The Assistant Minister has purposely left out Kaptum and Kapchelal sections. Work was still going on in those sections. Could he tell this House why the work was stopped there and when it will resume in that particular section and other adjudication sections in Keiyo Valley? view

The persistent shortage has, to a large extent, caused the current high pump prices in the country. I would like the Minister to specifically address the following:- (i) What are the causes of ... view
  • 5 Apr 2007 in National Assembly: Thank you very much, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. I would like to know from the Assistant Minister whether he is aware that many of the farmers who applied for loans this year have not received them because there is shortage of credit, particularly, in the Eldoret branch. view
  • 29 Mar 2007 in National Assembly: Thank you very much, Mr. Speaker, Sir, for giving me this opportunity to contribute on the Presidential Address during the official State Opening of Parliament. The President highlighted what the Government has done. It is true that the Government has done well in certain areas, particularly on the economic front. I agree that the President has tried to revive agricultural bodies such as the Kenya Co-operative Creameries (KCC), the Kenya Meat Commission (KCC) and to some extent, the Agricultural Finance Corporation (AFC). However, there is still a lot to be done. I want to mention something about agriculture. Agriculture is ... view
