I support the Senate Majority Leader on the issue of training and learning. Every day is a learning day. We want to be more effective in this House. The land is available in county headquarters. We do not have to rent offices. There should be a budget to build an official office. The moment we do not have a standard, then every Senator will be forced to have an outfit which may not truly be befitting. From my experience in Parliament in the last ten years, this was the shortest speech ever. A former Governor, Dr. Alfred Mutua, boasted of having advised the President to make the speech very short. Ordinarily, the speech carries the whole activity of the Executive arm of Government. This one was very short. view

In that paragraph, the President talked of a mission to dramatically scale up productivity in agriculture to ensure that every Kenyan farmer, fisherman and pastoralist contributes to the sustainable economic growth and production of adequate and affordable food. He also stated that he wants them to generate great income and produce the raw materials required for the agro- industry and manufacturing value chains which would boost Kenya’s export performance and create millions of jobs.
